Block Watch Alert - Home Invasion
This morning (Dec. 4th) about 11:15 a.m., there was a home invasion robbery in Cluster 7. Two African American males kicked in the front door and took a television and jewelry. Thanks to the alertness of a neighbor, who saw these two acting suspicious, called 911 and was on the phone with the operator when they exited the house. The police were dispatched and the criminals have been apprehended.
It can not be stressed enough the importance of notifying the police when something is suspicious, and getting to know your neighbors and neighborhood.
Our community wishes to commend this neighbor of ours who took the intiative to be cuious and to notify the police with information that resulted in apprehension of these criminals.
For those of you who follow this blog, please notify your neighbors of this incident and remind them of the existence of our community blog.

First and foremost, thank you SO much to the neighbor who called 911 regarding the home invasion. It makes me feel good to live in a community where people watch out for each other. Also, I did not know this site existed until today. Thank you to those who set it up. This is a great way to stay informed.
