Prayer Request Follow UP

Earlier this year a Request For Prayers was posted on this blog on behalf of Highland Meadows neighbors Chad and Julie Jordison and their families.

As many of you may already know, Julie was critically ill with HELLP Syndrome. We are pleased to report that Julie has experienced a miraculous recovery and is now home, and she and new born daughter Breanna Joy are doing fine.

Julie "would like to sincerely thank everyone for your thoughts and prayers through this time of hardship for me and my family"

Please continue to pray that Julie's organs continue to heal, that her blood pressure can be controlled, and that her energy level increases.

Neighborhood Gathering

Due to the overwhelming support that they received from the neighborhood during her hospital stay, Chad and Julie have decided to plan a Highland Meadows neighborhood barbecue. They have chosen the date of Saturday, Sept. 18th from 1-4 p.m. at the Trac A ballfield. Chad and Julie will be providing hot dogs, chips, pop, and cake. They have also rented a large 25 ft. blow up slide for the kids (or adults). They will be posting signs a week in advance. They are hoping for great weather and a large turnout. MARK YOUR CALENDARS !
