COVINGTON WATER DISTRICT BACKFLOW PREVENTION

For those residents who recently received a notice from Covington Water regarding required testing of existing backflow assemblies, please be advised that we have a Certified Backflow Assembly Tester (BAT) living in our neighborhood. His name is Chad Jordison and he can be reached at (253) 639-7170. Also for your information, he has experience with installing new backflow devices, and his rates are reasonable. For some of you with existing atmospheric vacuum breakers as your backflow device, they are no longer acceptable to Covington Water as they can not be tested. According to Covington Water District's web site, the only approved devices are Reduced Pressure Backflow Assemblies (RPBA) and Double Check Valve Assembllies
(DCVA).
COMMUNITY EASTER EGG HUNT
